General Information
NEW AS OF 2024: Submissions for the Minnesota Beef Expo Photography Contest will now be accepted prior to the event through an online submission form.
- The photography contest is FREE to enter!
- Each contestant may enter one image in each category (both color and black & white are accepted) for each. Categories include:
- Cattle
- Landscape
- Agriculture people
- Contestants must submit their image(s) along with the name and description of each photo they submit to the online registration form. Photos without a name and description will not be accepted.
- The online registration form will be open from Aug. 10, 2026, to Sept. 18, 2026. No submissions will be accepted after Sept. 18, 2026.
- All entries must have been created by the person submitting them.
- Pictures must have been executed after Jan. 1, 2025.
- Judging
- Top three images and an Overall Winner will be determind by a panel of judges.
- People’s Choice Award will be determined by votes on social media.
Age Divisions
Please use your age as of Jan. 1, 2026:
- Junior: Age 7-11
- Intermediate: Ages 12-14
- Senior: Ages 15-22
