The Minnesota Youth Beef Experience Program (MYBEP) will award eleven heifer calves to FFA, 4-H and junior Breed Association youth from a pool of over 80 applications. Every recipient will be responsible for raising, breeding and maintaining complete records on the care of the animal while providing monthly progress reports to the original owner and the Minnesota Beef Expo. The breeders who donated heifers will also serve as mentors to the MYBEP youth.
This program would not be possible without the generous support of the donors.
Meet the 2017 MYBEP heifer donors here.
